Where do abandoned camps spawn?

Abandoned camps are small campsites on the Overworld surface, added in Java 26.3. Each one is a white wool tent built from stairs, with chests, barrels, straw beds and cushions, and an unlit campfire nearby. They generate in forests, taigas, jungles, savannas and a few other biomes, including the new Dappled Forest.

Good to know	New in Java 26.3; older versions do not have them. They use a 37 × 37 chunk region grid with one attempt per region, so camps are spread out. Overworld surface only. Some camps have an oxidized copper chest with more valuable loot.

How to find abandoned camps without a seed map

Look for a white wool tent in forests, taigas, jungles and savannas, with an unlit campfire next to it.
Use the finder with your seed so you only travel to real camp positions.
Check chests in other structures: their loot can include explorer maps that lead to abandoned camps, trial chambers and ancient cities.

Are abandoned camps the same on Bedrock?

The Minecraft Wiki says they generate at the same locations in Java and Bedrock. Our finder shows them in Java mode only for now.
