Is this the real Minecraft font?
No — the game's font belongs to Mojang, so we drew our own 5 × 7 pixel font in the same spirit. That means you can use the images anywhere without worrying about font licences.
Tips for thumbnails
- Use Gold or Yellow with the shadow on for titles.
- Turn on the black outline when the background is busy.
- Pick a large pixel size and scale the PNG down in your editor, not up.

Can I use the images commercially?
Yes. The font is our own work and the images you make are yours to use.
Does it support accents?
Accented letters are shown with the base letter (é becomes e). Letters, numbers and common symbols are supported.
Can I get a transparent background?
Yes, choose "Transparent" as the background before downloading.
