How to build a circle in Minecraft
Pick the size
Width and height in blocks. Odd sizes (like 21) have one centre block; even sizes have a 2 × 2 centre.
Choose a style
Thin outline for walls, thick for smoother big circles, filled for floors.
Count from the centre
The brighter grid lines every 5 blocks make counting easier. Place the middle row first.
Spheres: go layer by layer
Move the layer slider and build one circle per layer from the bottom up.

Circles vs spheres
A circle is one flat layer. A sphere is a stack of circles that get smaller towards the top and bottom — use a hollow shell for domes and planets, or filled for solid balls. For a dome, build only the top half of the layers.

What is the best size for a Minecraft circle?
Odd diameters such as 15, 21 or 31 look the most even because they have a single centre block.
Can I make an oval?
Yes. Untick "Keep it round" and set a different height.
How many blocks do I need for a sphere?
The counter shows both the current layer and the total for the whole sphere.
