Spawn Finder
Enter your Java seed to see where the world spawn is, which biome it is in, and the nearest structure of every type to spawn — sorted by distance, with copyable /tp commands.
Predicted from world generation. The game picks the exact spawn point near this position; players respawn within a small radius of it.
How is the world spawn chosen?
When a world is created, the game searches around X 0, Z 0 for a good starting point. The search avoids oceans, rivers and extreme climates where it can, but it cannot always avoid them. The finder reproduces this search from the seed.

Why use spawn as your starting point?
Most players begin near spawn, so the structures closest to it are the ones you will reach first. The table above lists the nearest village, outpost, temples, trial chamber, ancient city and more within the radius you choose. For a full list of one structure, open its finder, for example the village finder or stronghold finder.
Frequently asked questions
Is the spawn point exactly where I appeared?
Not always. In Java you appear on a safe block within a 21 × 21 area around the world spawn by default, so your first position can be a few blocks away.
Why is the spawn far from 0, 0?
The game moves the spawn away from oceans, rivers and extreme climates, so it can end up some distance from the centre of the world.
Does it work for Bedrock?
Our spawn finder uses Java world generation. Bedrock spawn and structure positions are not supported yet.
